VITROCELL ®  Cloud Alpha 6는 클라우드 제품군의 혁신 제품이며 세포 배양의 자동화된 노출에서 큰 도약을 제시합니다. 높은 증착 효율과 사용 편의성을 결합합니다.  이 개발은 1세대의 잘 알려지고 자주 게시되는 VITROCELL ® 클라우드 형식(6, 12 및 24웰) 을 기반으로 합니다 . 이 기능은 올인원 제어 장치로 완전히 자동화된 프로세스를 가능하게 합니다. 공기/액체 인터페이스 (ALI) 에서의 일상적인 실험이 그 어느 때보다 쉬워졌습니다.

 

Cloud Alpha 6는 수많은 고객 요청의 결과로 개발되었으며 6, 12 또는 24웰 크기의 세포 배양 삽입물에서 포유류 세포 배양을 노출할 수 있습니다. 모든 상용 브랜드가 지원됩니다.

클라우드 시스템은 용액 및 현탁액의 분무화에 적합합니다. 응용 분야는 바이러스 연구, 흡입 약물 스크리닝 및 화학 물질이나 나노 입자와 같은 흡입 물질의 독성 테스트입니다.

Air/Liquid Cultivation

In response to the scientific need to expose in physiologically relevant conditions, the VITROCELL® Cloud Alpha exposure devices have been specifically designed to enable direct exposure of mammalian cells or tissue at the Air/Liquid Interface. Here the cell cultures are not covered with media as opposed to submerged conditions which cause an undesired inter­action of the formerly airborne substances with the culture media.

Cell systems cultivated on membrane inserts are exposed at the Air/Liquid Interface (ALI) so that the test substances are received directly. This approach allows for more credible and authentic results than by submerged exposure due to a closer replication of the human physiology.

How the Vitrocell  Cloud works

After pipetting the suspension, exposure to the cell cultures takes place in three phases:

Dosimetry using Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM)

The QCM sensor is integrated in the Cloud Alpha 6 exposure module. It is capable of measuring the deposited mass at a resolution of 10 nanogram/cm2 per second. Results are reported online by the VITROCELL Monitor Software. Data is presented in graphs and stored in MS Excel®.

Different choices of nebulizers

The system comes with a choice of 3 types of vibrating mesh nebulizers having droplet MMAD ranges of 2.5 – 6.0 µm, 2.5 – 4.0 µm and 4.0 – 6.0 µm.

Recommended nebulisation volumes are 200 µl. So the device is particularly suitable for testing whenever small quantities of testing materials are available.
